GTA Technology Files Patent Applications Covering Protect and Arti Assist

Company News

The company has engaged Crowell & Moring LLP to prepare and file patent coverage across its platform and its AI assistant, and continues to expand that coverage.

GTA Technology LLC and its founding team have engaged the law firm of Crowell & Moring LLP to prepare and file a robust suite of patent applications covering the technology behind its Protect platform and its Arti Assist AI assistant. The company continues to work with Crowell & Moring to expand that suite of applications.

Ownership of the underlying work sits with GTA Technology LLC and is recorded with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

GTA Technology is not publishing the substance of the filings and intends to keep the technical content confidential.

“We have invested significant time and resources developing our technology, and protecting that work has been a priority from the beginning. We engaged experienced patent counsel and worked closely with them to make sure our filings properly reflect the technology and innovation we have built.”

William M. Hess, Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer, GTA Technology

Both products can now be identified as patent pending.

For the agencies, brokers and carriers evaluating GTA Technology, the filings are one part of a broader position on ownership. The company owns and controls its own intellectual property, including the source code and documentation behind both products, and the patent applications sit alongside GTA Technology’s trademark program covering GTA Technology, Protect by GTA Technology, and Arti Assist by GTA Technology.

GTA Technology builds technology for the property and casualty insurance ecosystem, from independent agencies and brokerages through wholesalers and carriers. Protect is the company’s client and agency platform. Arti Assist is its AI assistant for insurance professionals.
